A floriate darling; this antique lilac blue Spinel and Diamond ring dates to the early 20th century and is a real beauty!! Such a romantic jewel, the charm of the design is somewhat in the quirky hand crafted imperfection of the setting which is of beautifully patinated Silver, the whole mounted on a shaped base and band of 18ct yellow Gold. The oval faceted Spinel is an exquisite and lively pale blue with a delicate lilac tinge, framed by eleven ywinklesome old hand faceted Rose cut Diamonds which were plundered from some earlier jewel as they date to the 18th century. We just love the layers of history to this piece!
We can only estimate the weight of the gems, and would say the Diamonds measure at a carat and the Spinel at around two carats. The flower cluster measures 1.5cm by 1.3cm across. The ring size is a 'J' or '5' as is but could be altered to suit quite easily and you've only to leave us a message on your order form.
