Circa 1950's, a most glittery and eye-catching vintage Aquamarine and Diamond cluster cocktail ring. A very special and classy find, the whole is neatly constructed and shaped to fit the finger comfortably; a gorgeous cushiony shape which flatters the hand so wonderfully; each of the beautifully sparkly brilliant-cut Diamonds measures at 0.05ct and so there is a combined weight of 0.60ct framing and complimenting the gleam of the long step cut sides to the magical natural Aquamarine. A gemstone which has been revered down the centuries and takes it's name from the Latin word for seawater, it is a variety of Beryl. A clear pale sea blue with feint green tones, this example is quite lovely and richly deserves such a showy setting!

Constructed in 18ct White Gold which was tremendously fashionable at the time, there are feature double claws to the Aquamarine and a gallery setting to the scintillating Diamonds. The splendid octagon cut Aquamarine measures 7.5mm by 8.5mm and we estimated the weight at around three carats. The cluster itself measures 13.80mm by 14.80mm and the ring size is an 'L' or '5.75' as is but can easily be altered to suit her lucky new owner. We will provide a valuation for insurance purposes with this piece.

It has a latter hallmark applied at the London Assay Office as was customary at the time.
